The project developed in partnership with the World Bank aims to aid DepEd in its institutional reform initiatives to enhance teacher professional development and competency standards.

Through this collaboration, Vice President and Education Secretary Sara Duterte emphasized that TEACEP aligns with the MATATAG Agenda, her administration's education reform program that prioritizes teacher development.

Duterte also expressed gratitude to the World Bank and the Department of Finance for their support.

“Today, thank you to the support of the, we are working to strengthen student learning outcomes in Zamboanga Peninsula, SOCCSKSARGEN, and BARMM through the Teacher Effectiveness and Competencies Enhancement Project or TEACEP,” she added.
