Attention Bookworms: NBS to hold New Year Book Fair, discounts up to 80 percent

New year, new books – something every bibliophile can relate to. As we navigate through 2024, what better way to kick it off than by shopping for new books?

The good news is that National Book Store (NBS) is offering amazing experiences for Laking National shoppers this January through the Back to Office and Planner Caravan and the Sulit Reads New Year Book Fair.

The Sulit Reads New Year Book Fair will not only offer books for as low as P99 but also provide discounts of up to 80 percent on participating items, along with book signing events featuring top Filipino authors. You can shop daily from 10 a.m. to 9/10 p.m from Jan. 26 to Feb. 4, 2024.

Meanwhile, some authors to watch out for during book signing events include acclaimed historian and bestselling author Ambeth Ocampo, children’s book author Gail D. Villanueva, and New York Times bestselling author Thea Guanzon. It's important to note that book signing events are scheduled for Saturdays and Sundays.

This is a sign for those planning to upgrade their study or working nook. Besides book sales, the Back to Office and Planner Caravan also offers discounts and freebies on various 2024 planners, writing instruments, and many more "sulit" finds. It’s happening at these National Book Store branches from Jan. 21 to Feb. 25, 2024:
