2 drug suspects arrested in Las Piñas City, P510K shabu seized

Two drug suspects were arrested in a joint buy-bust operation conducted by members of the Southern Police District (SPD)-Drug Enforcement Unit (SDDEU) and the Las Piñas Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) on Tuesday night, Jan. 23, in Las Piñas City.

The SPD said the suspects were identified as alias Kim, 22, listed as high value individual, and  Emy, 50.

Reports showed that the suspects were arrested at around 7:10 p.m. along Barangay Daniel Fajardo,  Las Piñas City.

The police said confiscated from the suspects were two plastic bags and one plastic sachet of shabu weighing about 75 grams and worth P510,000.

Aside from the shabu, the police also recovered from the suspects one P1,000 bill on top of the 30 counterfeit money used as buy-bust money, an android cellular phone, and a digital weighing scale.  

The suspects are now detained at the police custodial facility and charges for illegal possession of drugs were filed against them.
