Traffic enforcer shot dead in Abra

BANGUED, Abra – A traffic enforcer was gunned down here on Sunday, January 21.

Police identified the victim as Geraldine B. Peralta, a traffic enforcer in this town residing in Bucay, Abra.

Initial investigation said Peralta was driving his tricycle in Sitio Kabildatan, Zone 7, when a man appeared and fired at him at about 9 p.m.

The gunman fled and the victim died from on the spot from multiple bullet wounds.

Follow-up investigation is ongoing.
