Rhenz Abando admits he has a soft spot for Overseas Filipino Workers after having a similar experience while playing abroad in the Korean Basketball League.

The 25-year-old Abando, himself a son of an OFW, said he is aware of the sacrifices they make just to give a better future for their families.
He also has some pleas to anyone who has a family member that is part of the OFW community.
Sana mas alagaan nila ‘yong kapamilya na OFW,” he said.
The 6-foot-2 combo guard underscored as well that he understands and appreciates her mother more and all of the overseas employees when he is staying in South Korea.
Abando is in his second year for the Anyang KGC Boosters in the Korean Basketball League. He, however, is sitting out on games after suffering multiple injuries last Dec. 28.
