- Marcos said he does not use the chopper when he is in the city as he feels bad that his presence causes traffic.
President Marcos explained that he uses the presidential chopper on some occasions so as to not cause traffic along the areas where he is expected to go.

Marcos said this following criticisms about the traffic in Metro Manila, and his use of the presidential chopper when he went to a concert in Bulacan on Friday evening, Jan. 19.
In an interview with GMA Integrated News, the President said he does not use the presidential chopper when he is in the city as he feels bad that his presence could cause traffic.
"If you’re also just within the city, you don’t take the helicopter and the other thing I try to avoid is to cause traffic," he said.
"Because when I go— nakakahiya nga kung minsan, eh (it's embarrassing sometimes)— Everybody has to stop, everybody has to," he added.
"So I try, I try as little as possible to cause traffic. And then of course, yes, I’m trying to maximize my time," he continued.
Marcos faced criticism after he was seen riding the presidential chopper to attend the concert of British rock band Coldplay at the Philippine Arena on Friday.
The Presidential Security Group (PSG) explained that they decided to use the presidential chopper to transport President Marcos to the venue to ensure his safety amid the high volume of people who went to the concert.
"Recognizing that this traffic situation posed a potential threat to the security of our President, the PSG took decisive action by opting for the presidential chopper," PSG commander Maj. Gen. Nelson Morales said.
With this, the PSG chief asked for the public's understanding of the situation.
"This decision not only ensured the safety of our leader but also exemplified our commitment to prioritizing security in the face of unexpected challenges," Morales said.
"Your continued understanding and support for these measures are crucial in maintaining the safety and well-being of our nation's leadership," he added.
