Del Rosario joins Racela's Altas coaching staff

University of Perpetual Help bolsters its men's basketball coaching staff for the upcoming NCAA Season 100 as it tapped Richard Del Rosario to join head coach Olsen Racela at the sidelines, the team posted on Monday, Jan. 22.

Del Rosario, 53, is expected to be one of Racela’s assistants following the latter’s signing with the team early this month.

“Isang balang nadagdag sa armas ng Perpetual. Welcome Coach Richard Del Rosario to the Home of the Altas!” the team posted on social media.

Del Rosario will work with the team's former head coach Myk Saguiguit and manager Scottie Thompson as they hope to boost the Altas’ title run.

He was not new to the collegiate scene, having served as coach for the College of St. Benilde Blazers from 2009 to 2012 and assistant to coaches Caloy Garcia and Gee Abanilla from 2005 to 2008.
