Man arrested for possession of illegal drugs in Las Piñas City

A 46-year-old man tagged as Top 7 wanted person was arrested by members of the Station Intelligence Section (SIS) during the conduct of anti-criminality drive on Monday afternoon, Jan. 22, in Las Piñas City.

The Southern Police District (SPD) said the suspect identified as Bryan was arrested at around 4:10 p.m. in Barangay CAA , Las Piñas City.

City police chief Col. Jaime Santos said the suspect was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest for possession of illegal drugs issued on Nov. 22, 2022 by Judge Victor Ramirez Aguba of Las Piñas Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 255. 

The court recommended a bail of P200,000.

Santos said the suspect was immediately detained at the police custodial facility pending the issuance of a commitment order from the court.
