P204,000 shabu seized from foreigner

ANGELES CITY, Pampanga – Police arrested a foreigner in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Cutcut here on Saturday, January 20.

Seized from the suspect, a Chinese, was approximately 30 grams of suspected shabu with a standard drug price of P204,000.

Suspect was arrested after a week of surveillance.

He is facing charges for violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Police Regional Office-3 (Central Luzon) chief Police Brig. Gen. Jose S. Hidalgo Jr. said nobody is spared from the campaign against illegal drugs.

"Everyone, including foreign nationals engaging in illegal drugs and other criminal activities, is subject to the laws of our land," Hidalgo  said.
