Taguig LGU opens 24/7 diagnostic laboratory for emergency patients
The Taguig City government opened a diagnostic laboratory that is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week for emergency patients.
The laboratory is located at the Super Health Center in Barangay North Signal, Taguig. The facility has medical technologists, nurses, doctors, and a laboratory staff who can process services including CBC, urinalysis, HBSAg, VDRL, electrolyte panel (sodium, potassium, chloride), Dengue NSI, IgG and IgM, and fecalysis.

According to the city government, the laboratory is an addition to its 29 community-based laboratories located in each health center and three main laboratories.
The 24/7 laboratory will serve emergency patients seen and evaluated in the three Super Health Centers located in Barangays North Signal, Ligid-Tipas and Central Bicutan.
Patients from other health centers in Taguig can be accommodated only after 5 p.m., provided that it is an emergency case and with a proper referral form from the health center of origin.
All diagnostic laboratories in other health centers will remain open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. to serve residents.
