OPM band Lola Amour is still on cloud nine after making a guest appearance at the Coldplay concert held at the Philippine Arena in Bocaue, Bulacan Friday.
On social media, the OPM band said they still couldn't believe they performed with Chris Martin, lead vocals for the Grammy-winning band Coldplay, during the encore set for the jampacked show.
"Still can’t believe this happened! Thank you @coldplay for this once in a lifetime experience!" wrote the band on Instagram on Jan. 20. Then they also shared another snap doing a sound check hours before the concert started.
During the concert, Lola Amour performed their hit song "Raining In Manila" with Chris.
Prior, Chris made an intro to the song while on the piano. He said: "Yesterday, I was driving here, in the rain. And only one song came to mind."
Then he sang the intro to the song "Raining In Manila." After a few lines to the song, Chris stopped and called the members of Lola Amour to the delight of the cheering crowd.
The crowd sang with Lola Amour as Chris sat and enjoyed listening to the band. Some comments:
"What a surprise last night! Thank you."
"Sarap sa pakiramdam niyan. Tuwa ako para sa inyo hehehe."
"Deserve!!! Dati sa Mandala Park ko lang kayo napapanuod ng live ngayon sa concert na ng coldplay."
"So nakatulog na ba kayo after last nights pangyayari, mga bros?"
"Grabe ibang level na kayoooo."
"Wow!!! I’m so happy for you guys!!! You must be so proud."
