A total of P120,000 worth of dried marijuana leaves were seized from two arrested drug suspects in an anti-criminality checkpoint operation (Oplan-Sita) conducted in Brgy. Guyong, Santa Maria, Bulacan, on Saturday dawn, Jan. 20.
 
In reports submitted to Col. Relly B. Arnedo, Bulacan police director, Santa Maria police identified the arrested drug suspects as alias Jhonet, 20; and alias Ronald, 28. 

Confiscated from the two suspects were a plastic-wrapped brick containing one kilogram of suspected dried marijuana fruiting tops with an estimated Standard Drug Price (SDP) of P120,000; a Unit Beretta (replica); three pieces of cellphones; a bag, and a Honda Click 125 motorcycle without plate number.

Likewise, drug sting operations by the Station Drug Enforcement Units (SDEU) of Meycauayan and Calumpit police resulted in the arrest of 10 drug peddlers and the confiscation of seven sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated SDP of P13,678; drug paraphernalia, and buy-bust money.

Meanwhile, on Friday, Jan.19, Hagonoy police arrested Luciano Santos after serving the arrest warrant issued by the Presiding Judge, Family Court, Third Judicial Region, Branch 4, Malolos City, Bulacan.
 

Santos was charged with violation of Statutory Rape with no bail recommended.

He was among the top 5 Wanted Persons Provincial Level and Top 1 Municipal Level (MWP) of Hagonoy. 


Additionally, tracker teams of San Miguel, San Jose Del Monte, Sta. Maria and Plaridel police arrested five wanted persons.

The arrested suspects were identified as alias Marineth arrested for violating Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002; alias Alejandro for Direct Assualt; alias Jenny for New Anti-Carnapping Act of 2016 (R.A. 10883); alias Renato for Social Security Act of 2018, and alias Fpj for Rape respectively. 

All accused are presently under the custody of the arresting unit and stations.
