The six members of TWS (Pledis Entertainment)

The six members of TWS (pronounced ‘Two-Us’) – Shinyu, Dohoon, Youngjae, Hanjin, Jihoon, and Kyungmin – were unveiled for the very first time in the video.

TWS’ confidence is captured in the new single, showing who they are to “‘you” within just seven seconds. The uplifting melody and performance that accompanies the track underlines why TWS got the tag “rookie of 2024” in the K-pop scene even before their official debut.

After starting with strings that sample Robert Schumann's "Kinderszenen," TWS sing “Time to say Hello!” (translated as ‘Hello there, Time’) and the song takes a sharp turn with hard-hitting, invigorating bass and synths.

TWS channel their gentle and yet ebullient energy into the refreshing melodies that define their own musical style nicknamed “Boyhood Pop,” and the song continues to evolve towards the climax, energized by a sonic twist after another.

The video kicks off with the boys excited for their debut showcasing their performance in front of the likes of Master Professional Sung Soo Han of Pledis Entertainment, Chairman Bang Si-Hyuk of HYBE, Seventeen and Bumzu.

Then they imagine themselves delivering a perfectly synchronized performance set against the backdrop of iconic landmarks around the world, unshakably eager and thrilled to capture the attention of the audience worldwide in those “seven seconds.”

TWS means “Twenty Four Seven With Us,” bringing forward the expression “24/7” to symbolize the members’ unwavering commitment to being with “you” around the clock.

They will be the first boy band to debut under Pledis Entertainment in nine years since Seventeen.

TWS’ debut mini-album “Sparkling Blue” will be out at 6 p.m. KST on Jan. 22.
