No untoward incident was reported during New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.

A total of 179,200 tourists visited Boracay last month.

They were mostly domestic tourists, which accounted for 134,396, and 42,289 foreign tourists and 2,315 Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs).
