17 drug suspects, wanted men nabbed in Bulacan


The anti-illegal drug operations conducted by the Hagonoy, Bustos, City of San Jose Del Monte, Pandi, Plaridel, Bocaue, and Obando police in Bulacan on  Friday, Jan. 19, resulted in the arrest of eight suspected drug dealers.

Col. Relly B. Arnedo, Bulacan police director, said the series of drug sting operations yielded suspected shabu with an estimated standard drug price (STD) of P58,480, and alleged dried marijuana  leaves worth P7,347.


The confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) for appropriate examination, while criminal complaints for violations of Republic Act 9165 against the suspects are now being prepared for filing in court.

On Thursday, Jan. 18, two most wanted persons were arrested by the Bulacan police from CSJDM and Bulakan armed with an arrest warrant issued by the court.

Police identified the suspect as Prince Edgard, collared for violation of Sec. 5 and 11, Art. II of R.A. 9165 of San Jose Del Monte City; and Fernando Carpio, for acts of lasciviousness. 

Seven more individuals wanted for various crimes and offenses were apprehended by tracker teams from the San Ildefonso, Marilao, Hagonoy, Balagtas, Bulakan, and CSJDM police. They are now under the custody of the arresting unit and stations.
