PAGASA said the 31st Astronomy Week with the theme, "Popularizing Astronomy in the Region through Science Education and Communication (PARSEC)," will be held from Sunday to Saturday, Feb. 18 to Feb. 24.

PAGASA said the event has been celebrated every third week of February under Presidential Proclamation No. 130, s. 1993.

"The theme for the 31st NAW celebration aims to raise awareness about the significance of astronomy in education and its relevance to our everyday lives, and to encourage a sense of community engagement by organizing regular astronomy events, stargazing sessions, and workshops," said PAGASA.

PAGASA said it will announce the list of celestial activities for the celebration.
