P680,000 shabu seized in Caloocan buy-bust


Members of the Northern Police District (NPD) confiscated P680,000 worth of alleged shabu and arrested a man in a buy-bust operation in Caloocan City, on Wednesday, Jan. 17.

Police identified the suspect as alias "Negneg," 26, a resident of Valenzuela City.

Based on the police report, operatives of the District Drug Enforcement Unit (DDEU) conducted a buy bust operation at around 7:52 p.m. on Jan. 17, along Torres Bugalyon St. Barangay 9, Caloocan City.

Confiscated from the suspects were around 100 grams of alleged shabu worth P680,000, a black sling bag, a self-sealing bag, a cellular phone, and the buy-bust money.

The arrested suspect will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, police said.
