Malabon gov't, MCPS hold LTOPF, firearms registration caravan

The Malabon City local government and Malabon City Police Station (MCPS) conducted a License to Own and Possess Firearms (FTOPF) and Firearms registration caravan at the Malabon Sports Center on Thursday, Jan. 18.

The initiative aimed to offer residents of Malabon and neighboring cities the opportunity to renew, apply for LTOPF, and register firearms.
The city’s public information office (PIO) said they provided a one-stop-shop to streamline the processing of the documents that they need to submit.

Applicants must bring the LTOPF new application form; a notarized affidavit of undertaking; PNP identification card; duty status; pay slip; passport or birth certificate; police clearance; proof of billing or barangay clearance; valid ID; two-pieces of 2x2 I.D. photo with white background with name tag; neuro, and drug test results.
Meanwhile, new applicants for civilian and other law enforcement agencies (LEAs) must bring the following: LTOPF new application form; a notarized affidavit of undertaking; gun safety seminar certificate; pay slip; passport or birth certificate; police clearance; proof of billing or barangay clearance; oath of office/certificate of employment/duty status; two-pieces of 2x2 I.D. photo with white background and name tag; neuro, and drug test results.
For renewal application, applicants must present the LTOPF new application form, notarized affidavit of undertaking, and neuro and drug test results.
The city government also required applicants to undergo the psychiatric and psychological examination.
Applicants must bring a photocopy of a screenshot of their FEO account (reflecting their name and picture); a photocopy of their valid government I.D. and O.R. for the N.P. exam; black ballpen and pencil; eyeglasses (if necessary); and a 2x2 I.D. photo with white background and name tag.
