The Las Piñas police displayed a commendable act of rescuing two children and bringing them back to their parents after they were found roaming around by barangay watchmen on Jan. 14.
According to Las Piñas city police chief Col. Jaime Santos, barangay watchmen in Barangay Pulanglupa Dos found a four year-old boy and a three-year-old girl roaming around the street at around 10:30 a.m.
Santos said to ensure the safety of the children, the barangay watchmen took them to the Barangay CAA women’s section.
He said coordination was immediately made with the CAA substation to help the barangay in locating the parents of the children.
The city police chief said the CAA substation personnel did not waste time and immediately exerted their effort to locate the relatives of the two children.
Santos said through the diligent efforts of the CAA Sub-Station personnel, the home address of the missing children was located along Bayanihan St., Brgy. CAA.
He said the children were reunited with their parents after the CAA substation personnel were able to locate their home address.
The city police chief said the act displayed by personnel of CAA substation is a commitment of the local police to ensure the safety and well-being of the community.
