Singer Mark Tuan performed in Manila over the weekend, the last member of K-pop boy band GOT7 to have a solo show in the Philippines.
The K-pop idol held his "The Other Side" Asia Tour in Manila show on Jan. 14 at the SM North EDSA Skydome.
Mark’s Manila show was held two days before GOT7’s 10th anniversary since their debut in South Korea in 2014.

Taiwanese-American singer Weswes (@wesdaboy) was the opening act at Mark’s Manila concert.
During the show, Mark was accompanied by Filipino-American dancers Ken San Jose (who is also a singer) and Hugh Aparente.
“We are finally here in the Philippines. I wanna thank everybody for coming out tonight and joining me,” said Mark.
“The Other Side” is the title of Mark’s first studio album that was released in August 2022.
About the title, he said, “I’ve been on stage with GOT7 for so many years. It’s 10 years now. In two days. Being in front of camera, being on stage, you guys have seen the good moments, you guys have seen us always happy.”
“I’m sure there are times where we can’t hide our emotions, sometimes we are a little upset on stage. Whatever. ‘The Other Side’ is just speaking about that part of us, that part of me. Just wanted it to kinda let my feelings out a little bit for this album,” he said.
Mark opened his show with “After Hours,” “Save Me” and “Change Up,” three songs in his “The Other Side” album.
He followed this with “Exhausted,” “At My Low,” “Far Away,” “Last Breath,” “Let You Go,” “My Life” and “Fallin.”
His set also included “Your World,” “Broken,” “Selfish,” “Hard 2 Love,” “More,” “2 Faces” (feat. Weswes), “Lonely,” and “Everyone Else Fades.”

Mark talked about other GOT7 members’ visit to the Philippines.
“I heard yesterday, apparently all members have been here already except for me. I’m sorry I took so long. Did you guys go to the other members’ shows?” he asked.
GOT7’s Jackson, Jinyoung, Jay B, Youngjae, Yugyeom and BamBam have held or performed in shows as solo artists in the Philippines. With Mark’s visit, all GOT7 have visited the country for solo events.
“Hopefully, we’ll be back as GOT7,” he said.
Mark continued his set with “Night Still Young,” and “Carry Me Out,” and for the encore, he performed “Never Gonna Come Down,” “One In A Million,” “My Name,” “This Is Everything” and “Imysm Remix.”
A fan video for Mark was shown on the screen, detailing GOT7’s departure from JYP Entertainment and the members starting their new journey.
“GOT7 will remain 7 forever,” according to the video. Fans also held big letters that read “PH 💚 MT” or “Philippines loves Mark Tuan.”

“Thank you guys so much for the video and all the kind words. It’s been four years since I was last here. Yeah, a lot of things happened. We were never sure of the future. I’m here now. I’m here with you guys. I think that all that really matters is, I think, we should not stress too much about the future, and kinda just live in the present, in the moment,” he said.
Mark added, ‘I want you guys to know that I’m gonna be here for you guys. Also the rest of the six boys are gonna be here for you. We’re still GOT7. We still always talk to each other.”
He said he is hoping that someday, GOT7 will come back to Manila.
“Hopefully one day … one day, we will come back to visit you guys. Thank you so much. I promise I’ll be back again. I hope you guys will be here for me. I love you guys. Thank you,” said Mark.
