E-Lotto bettor wins P698-M Grand Lotto jackpot

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced on Thursday, Jan. 18, that the P698-million Grand Lotto 6/55 winning ticket was purchased via e-lotto.

The winning number combination in the Jan. 17 draw was 24-50-52-09-51-03 which was correctly guessed by only one bettor.

PCSO said because the jackpot prize exceeded P10,000, it would be subject to a 20 percent tax deduction under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) Law.

If the jackpot prize remains unclaimed one year after the draw date, it will be forfeited and will go to the PCSO Charity Fund, as stated under Republic Act 1169 or the PCSO Charter.

The 6/55 draw is held every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday.
