CSC recognizes Las Piñas gov't for excellence in human resource management

The Civil Service Commission awarded the Las Piñas City government with a Certificate of Recognition for its excellence in human resource management on Tuesday, Jan. 16.
The award was presented to Las Piñas City Mayor Imelda Aguilar and Vice-Mayor April Aguilar by Director Laura D. Mangorangca of the CSC-NCR Regional Office.
Aguilar said the recognition marks a milestone in the city’s journey towards institutionalizing meritocracy and excellence in human resource management.
She said the CSC recognized the city government’s achievement in obtaining Maturity Level 2 in the enhanced program to institutionalize meritocracy and excellence in human resource management (PRIME-HRM).
The mayor said the recognition highlights the city’s dedication to enhancing its recruitment, selection and placement, and learning and development systems.
Aguilar explained that PRIME-HRM is a program initiated by the CSC designed to elevate human resource management in government agencies.
She said it serves as a transformative tool, integrating and enhancing the personnel management assessment and assistance program (PMAAP) and the CSC Agency Accreditation Program (CSCAAP).
The mayor added the program's objective is to develop competencies, systems, and practices in human resource management, steering agencies towards HR excellence.
Mangorangca commended the Las Piñas City government for its exemplary performance in human resource management.
She highlighted the importance of PRIME-HRM in fostering a culture of excellence and accountability in government service.
Aguilar expressed her gratitude for the recognition and reiterated her administration's commitment to upholding the highest standards in public service.
She said the achievement of Maturity Level 2 in PRIME-HRM marks a significant step for the city government in its ongoing journey towards administrative excellence and public service efficiency.
