Three Filipinos made it as members of a global girl group through the “Universe Ticket” show in South Korea.
Korean TV network SBS held the finale for “Universe Ticket,” a global girl group audition show, on Jan. 17, and revealed the eight members who will debut.

The Filipinos who will be part of the global girl group project called Unis are Elisia Parmisano and Gehlee Dangca, and Filipino-Korean Jin Hyeon-ju, who is known as Belle in the K-pop girl group Cignature.
Parmisano became the first confirmed member of Unis when she ranked first overall in episode 9 of the show last Jan. 10.
Jin Hyeon-ju’s father is Korean and her mother is Filipino. She was born and raised in South Korea.
The three will join Korean members Bang Yunha, Oh Yoon-a and Lim Seowon, and Japanese members Nana and Kotoko in the group.
"I realized how much other people's trust in me was a great help to my growth," said Dangca, according to a report by SBS News.
The “Universe Ticket” started from 82 contestants from which 16 finalists were chosen.
According to SBS, the eight winners will debut in the global girl group project under F&F Entertainment, the co-producer of “Universe Ticket.”
They will be under Unis for two years and six months with the possibility of a two-year extension contract.
