10 LMB members drop AMGL-KMP

GUIMBA, Nueva Ecija – Ten members of the Liga ng Manggagawang Bukid (LMB) renounced support to the Alyansang Magbubukid sa Gitnang Luzon (AMGL) under the Kilusang Magbubukid ng Pilipinas (KMP) on Wednesday, January 17.

The police and military conducted a special intelligence operation in Barangay Nagpandayan, Guimba, Nueva Ecija that resulted in the LMB members’ withdrawal of support.

The 10 activists, who are all farmers, took and signed an oath of allegiance to the government.

They were released after documentation and authorities encouraged remaining Leftist members to return to the fold of the law.
