Vietnamese arrested for possession of illegal drugs in Pasay City

A drunk Vietnamese was found in possession of illegal drugs after police accosted him for creating trouble in Pasay City early Wednesday morning, Jan. 17.
The Southern Police District (SPD) said Pasay City police chief Col. Mario Mayames reported the arrest of alias Bin, a Vietnamese, at around 3:30 a.m. in front of a shopping center on Taft Avenue Extension in Barangay 79 Zone 10, Pasay City.
Mayames said operatives of Baclaran Substation responded to a report by a concerned citizen about the suspect who was shouting and creating disturbance in the area.
Upon reaching the area, lawmen immediately arrested Bin who was under the influence of liquor. They seized from him 0.7 grams of shabu worth P4,760.
The city police chief said the suspect was immediately brought and detained at the police custodial facility.
Mayames said charges of illegal possession of drugs and alarm and scandal were filed against Bin.
