Super Lotto ticket sold in Manila wins P640 million

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced on Wednesday, Jan. 17, that the P640-million Super Lotto 6/49 winning ticket was purchased at an outlet on Rizal Avenue in Manila City.

The winning number combination in the Jan. 16 draw was 26-33-14-48-06-42, which was correctly guessed by only one bettor.

PCSO said because the jackpot prize exceeded P10,000, it would be subject to a 20 percent deduction under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) Law.

If the jackpot prize remains unclaimed one year after the draw date, it will be forfeited and will go to the PCSO Charity Fund, as stated under Republic Act 1169 or the PCSO Charter.
