Another fashion season has begun as the world turned its gaze to Milan for the latest fall-winter menswear. Among the many brands and designers joining in the stylish affair is luxury label Fendi with its newest menswear line that combines the contemporary vibe of city style with the simple charms of countryside dressing.
Silvia Venturini Fendi, artistic director of accessories and menswear of the brand, designs a collection featuring old and new techniques, producing a line tinted with the season’s perennial hues, like granite, burnt umber, and forest green, with pops of cherry, yellow canary, and denim blue tones.
Among the highlights of the collection are the long pleated shorts and flat-front checked skorts paired with hiking socks and Wellington boots. Its reimaginations of fisherman’s coats, waterproof wax jackets, and bombers and peacoat shapes engineered with shaved trompe l’oeil shearling piping and seams celebrate the duality of the urban and the bucolic. Texture and playful palette are also spotlighted through its color-blocked knitwear, ribbed wrap cardigans, and evening ensembles in glossy satin and lurex shimmers.
To complete the looks, Silvia also designs the brand’s fall-winter 2024-2025 accessories line. Gracing the runway are the convertible Siesta and Melon bags, as well as the Peekaboo ISeeU Soft returns alongside the beveled lines of the padded Baguette Soft Trunk. The brand also launches the Fendi x Devialet Mania, a portable handheld speaker highlighting the brand’s foray into the fields of music and technology.
