DOH warns against fake accounts impersonating Herbosa

The Department of Health (DOH) warned the public on Wednesday, Jan. 17, about the deceptive social media profiles "falsely" attributed to Secretary Teodoro Herbosa.

"The DOH would like to clarify that Secretary Herbosa does not own any of these accounts," it said in an advisory.

It added that any statements, comments, or transactions originating from these accounts are not endorsed by Herbosa. 

In light of this, the DOH urged the public to exercise vigilance and rely solely on information from legitimate sources.

Accessing official updates is also advised through the Health Department's authorized social media handles and links.
