The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said a temperature of 12.4°C was recorded in Baguio City on Wednesday, Jan. 17.

Based on PAGASA's daily temperature update, it was the lowest temperature recorded in Baguio City so far this year.
During PAGASA’s 4 a.m. live weather forecast, weather specialist Obet Badrina said Baguio City can expect partly cloudy weather with isolated rains over the next three days due to the northeast monsoon, locally known as "amihan."
PAGASA also said Baguio City may have a temperature ranging from 13°C to 15°C in the next three days.
Meanwhile, other areas with the lowest temperatures across the country on Wednesday were Basco, Batanes (17.2°C); Tanay, Rizal (18°C); Laoag City, Ilocos Norte (19°C); Malaybalay, Bukidnon (19°C); Tuguegarao City, Cagayan (19.6°C); Abucay, Bataan (19.8°C); Aparri, Cagayan (20.4°C); Tayabas, Quezon (20.5°C); and Casiguran, Aurora (20.5°C).
