Two men facing carnapping charges were arrested in separate anti-crime operations conducted by members of the Las Piñas police Warrant and Subpoena Section on Monday, Jan. 15.
According to the report of City Police Chief Col. Jaime Santos to the Southern Police District (SPD), the arrested suspects were identified as alias "JM" and "Bong".

Santos said JM, who was tagged by the police as the top six wanted person, was arrested at around 9:30 p.m. in Tanza, Cavite.
Alias Bong who was No. 4 wanted person was arrested one hour after JM's arrest by WSS personnel along Barangay Talon Uno, Las Piñas City at around 10:30 p.m.

The city police chief said the suspects were arrested by virtue of warrants of arrest issued by Judge Phoebe Castillo Meer of Las Piñas Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 275 on Jan. 5 with bail recommended of P300,000 each.
Santos said the suspects were immediately detained at the police custodial facility pending the order from the issuing court.
