The Dream will be one of the six teams participating in the Invitational WPBA 3x3 which tips off next week.

Kaye Pingol, the no. 5-ranked women’s 3x3 player in the country, captain the Uratex side as it aims to maintain its position as the standard in local women’s 3x3 hoops.

Joining her in the Dream lineup are Sam Harada, Eunique Chan, Shanda Anies, Cecilia Junsay, and April Siat.

“It’s a longtime coming and we’re happy to be part of the rise of women’s 3x3 basketball on the local front. We’re just happy to compete and we’ll make sure to give it our all in the WPBA 3x3,” said team owner Peachy Medina.

But Uratex Dream will have their hands full with a stacked field which includes Gilas A, Gilas B, Philippine Air Force, Philippine Navy, and Angelis Resort.

It’s going to be a short three-week elimination schedule starting on Jan. 22 to 23 at Ayala Malls Circuit Makati, on Jan. 29 to 30 at Ayala Malls Market! Market!, and on Feb. 5 and 6 at Ayala Malls Manila Bay, with the top four teams advancing to the knockout playoffs to be held on Feb. 19 at Ayala Malls Glorietta.
