Choco Mucho nabbed grizzled veteran Royse Tubino with hopes of completing the championship puzzle while returning Alyssa Eroa joined Galeries Tower as the two teams gear up for the season-opening Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference slated next month.

Tubino is coming off a one-year stint with the PLDT High Speed Hitters after previously playing for the defunct Sta. Lucia Realtors from 2019 to 2020 and United Volleyball Club in 2018.
But the 31-year-old outside hitter was best known for her long stint with the Army Lady Troopers, where she played from 2015-2016 and from 2021 to 2023.
Tubino, who was known for steering University of Perpetual Help to three NCAA championships in her collegiate days, is expected to fill in the void left by Bea De Leon.
De Leon was recruited by Choco Mucho’s sister team Creamline along with Denden Revilla.
Tubino is also set to team up with the Flying Titans’ mainstays Sisi Rondina, Maddie Madayag and Kat Tolentino.
Choco Mucho guns to eclipse its runner-up finish in last month’s season-ending Second All-Filipino Conference to Creamline.
Meanwhile, Eroa is coming off a hiatus following her last stint with PLDT during the league’s bubble season in 2021.
In her return, the veteran libero is expected to boost the Highrisers’ defense by joining forces with Juliet Catindig at the backline.
Galeries Tower debuted in the league in the Second All-Filipino Conference where it finished 11th place with a single win against 10 losses.
