Rising star Maki to headline MakeitPOP OPM Rising

Rising Filipino R&B star Maki will be performing at MakeitLive’s new live discovery series, MakeitPOP, that will be held on March 17, 7 p.m., at the Samsung Hall at SM Aura in Taguig.

MakeitPOP OPM Rising is set to bring up and coming local acts where everyone can discover their new favorite artist and get to know the latest musical landscape in the country.

Maki (Tarsier Records) is known to tell stories of heartbreak in nostalgic and bittersweet melodies that hit right at the spot of this generation’s music lovers.

His viral single, “Saan?,” gained over millions of streams since its release in 2023 and became the go-to heartbreak anthem of young souls, from quoting its iconic lyrics on social media posts to using his music through epic edits.

This was followed by “Bakit?” which features the prequel of “Saan?,” gaining as much recognition that made a significant impact on his budding career.

Tickets to MakeitPOP OPM Rising are available at MakeitLive Asia's official website. General Admission is priced at P1,000 while fans can enjoy a Meet & Greet inclusion for P3,500.
