Parañaque City Mayor Eric Olivarez is the top performing mayors in the National Capital Region (NCR) based on the survey conducted by the RP-Mission and Development Foundation Inc. (RPMD) for the year 2023.

Olivarez got a 90 percent job performance rating during the “Boses ng Bayan” survey conducted by the RPMD from Dec. 27, 2023 to Jan. 5.

The mayor shared the number one spot with Mayors Joy Belmonte of Quezon City; Jeannie Sandoval of Malabon City; John Ray Tiangco of Navotas City, and Along Malapitan of Caloocan City.

According to Dr. Paul Martinez, Global Affairs Analyst and RPMD executive director, the performance rating received by Olivarez and the other NCR mayors only showed their effective work in the city government in bringing programs and projects to their constituents and for their immediate response to different situations.

Martinez added the survey result will help the mayors in making their work better and improve where they are lacking in making their cities progressive.

Olivarez thanked the RPMD for the high performance rating and vowed to continue to work harder to better serve city residents.

He said the city government plans to implement more programs and projects to uplift the lives of its people.
