Choco Mucho nabbed grizzled veteran Royse Tubino with hopes of completing the championship puzzle as it gears up for the season-opening Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference slated next month.

Tubino is coming off a one-year stint with the PLDT High Speed Hitters after previously playing for the defunct Sta. Lucia Realtors from 2019 to 2020 and United Volleyball Club in 2018.

But the 31-year-old outside hitter was best known for her long stint with the Army Lady Troopers, where she played from 2015-2016 and from 2021 to 2023.

Tubino, who was known for steering University of Perpetual Help to three NCAA championships in her collegiate days, is expected to fill in the void left by Bea De Leon.

De Leon was recruited by Choco Mucho’s sister team Creamline along with Denden Revilla.

Tubino is also set to team up with the Flying Titans’ mainstays Sisi Rondina, Maddie Madayag and Kat Tolentino.
