PRC schedules in-person oathtaking for new electronics engineers, technicians


The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Monday, Jan. 15, the date and venue for the in-person mass oathtaking ceremony of new electronics engineers, as well as professional electronics engineers and electronics technicians.

In a Facebook post, the PRC announced that the oath-taking ceremony for electronics-related professions will be on Jan. 17 in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental.

Participants must wear Filipiniana/Barong Tagalog upon attending the ceremony.

Meanwhile, the PRC said participants must complete the pre-registration process on its website (http://online.prc.gov.ph) before noon on the oathtaking day.

They must also print the oath form, which includes a generated QR code, to confirm their attendance.

For those unable to attend the in-person oathtaking ceremony, arrangements can be made for a special appointment or an online ceremony option will be made available.

Details about the online ceremony will be posted once the schedule is confirmed, PRC said.

It added that participants must complete their initial registration by scheduling an online appointment on the official PRC website starting on Jan. 18.
