Manila opens one-stop shop for business permits in malls

Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna-Pangan announced the opening of one-stop shops for business permits in shopping malls in the city.
"The payment of real property and business permits can now be done on the side while mailing," the mayor said on Monday, Jan. 15.
The assignment of new venues aligns with the city government’s close working relations with business owners based in Manila.
According to Lacuna-Pangan, owners of local businesses and real properties have the option of settling their dues in shopping malls, apart from doing it online within the confines of their own homes.
The lady mayor said the payment of business permits and real property taxes can be transacted at the Customer Service counter on the third floor of SM Manila from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.
Meanwhile, Bureau of Permits Manila Chief Levi Facundo said that the electronic business-one-stop-shop (e-BOSS) satellite registration is now available in several venues, including Robinson's Place in Ermita, Lucky Chinatown, Isetann Mall in Recto, Tutuban and 168 shopping centers in Binondo.
He assured that the help desk teams will be ready to serve even on weekends.
Operations on Saturdays are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and from 12 noon to 4 p.m. on Sundays.
He said that business owners may visit the e-BOSS registration from Jan. 2 to Feb. 6, 2024, for a fast and convenient business application process.
He noted that there are already 56,000 authorized business establishments in the capital city.
