P3PWD Party-list nominee Rowena Guanzon has admonished netizens for actively engaging on mundane topics such as showbiz love team break-ups, but keeping mum on important social issues. 

Guanzon vented this in a Facebook post on late Sunday night, Jan. 14. 

"Ang hirap sa inyo ang dami niyong ebas pagdating sa hiwalayan ng celebrity, kathryn ni unfollow si DJ at iba pa, 299 na engagement ring pero pagdating sa jeepney phaseout at allegedly suhulan sa charter change, nganga kayo!" wrote the unspoken Guanzon. 

(The problem with you is that you have a lot to say when it comes to celebrity break-ups, Kathryn unfollowing DJ, P299 engagement rings, but when it comes to the jeepney phaseout and the alleged bribery for Charter change, you're silent!) 

"Tandaan niyo mas tatamaan kayo kung biglaang mawalan ng jeep sa daan at mahirap sumakay papunta sa trabaho o kaya naman ay humaba lalo termino ng mga buhaya sa gobyerno," added the former Commission on Elections (Comelec) commissioner. 

(Remember, you'll be the ones who'll suffer if jeeps suddenly disappear from roads and make the commute to work difficult, or if the crocodiles in government are given longer terms in office.) 

The proud kakampink's post betrayed not only her disdain for such netizens, but her growing concerns on the issues she alluded to. 

Facebook user Patricia De Mesa Martin echoed Guanzon's disappointment. 

"Ganian naman ang marami, walang paki sa nangyayari sa gobyerno, hinahayaan nalang, sana manlang mga magpahayag ng pagka dismaya (Most of them are like that, they don't care about what's happening in government, they just let it be, they could at least express their dismay)," Martin said. 

Meanwhile, one Danny Salvador offered this assessment to Guanzon: "Maybe one of the reasons for the apathy is the fact that there is no viable opposition right now." 

"The left and the dilawans are outdoing each other in kissing the ass of this admin while pinklawans are silent or nowhere to be found," he said.
