Antique's most wanted falls

ILOILO CITY – Police nabbed the most wanted person in Antique on Sunday.

The Police Regional Office (PRO)-6 identified the suspect as alias “Undo.”

Undo was arrested in Anini-y, Antique based on a warrant for statutory rape issued by Judge Ernesto Labio Abijay Jr. of the Regional Trial Court (RTC)-Branch 10 in the provincial capital of San Jose de Buenavista.

The PRO-6 lauded the arrest of Undo by the Anini-y Municipal Police Station based on information from concerned citizens.

“The apprehension of this suspect and individuals accountable to the law is facilitated through the assistance of the community,” said Police Brig. Gen. Sidney Villaflor, PRO-6 chief.

“I appeal to everyone to collaborate for a safer and more peaceful society,” added Villaflor.
