CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga – Three communist rebels surrendered in Central Luzon and pledged allegiance to the government on Monday, January 15.
The Police Regional Office-3 identified the surrenderers as Ka Keno, Ka Loi, and Eliong.
Ka Keno of the Sandatahang Yunit Pampropaganda in Bataan turned himself in to the Regional Mobile Force Battalion-3 in Lubao, Pampanga and yielded a caliber .38 revolver pistol and ammunition.
He received financial aid and groceries from the police.
Ka Loi gave up his improvised shotgun, grenade launcher ammunition, and subversive documents in Zambales.
He provided vital information to the police for its insurgency campaign.
Tarlac police facilitated the surrender of Eliong who turned over a homemade shotgun and explosive materials.
