Police identified the victim as Dr. Agustin "Ting" Bolor, a dentist and former chairman of Barangay San Vicente Central.

The body of Dolor, an incumbent councilor or kagawad of Barangay San Vicente Central, was found with multiple stab wounds at around 8:30 a.m. in his house on Sunday, January 14.

The officer-on-case said they are eyeing robbery as the motive for the killing as Bolor’s room was ransacked and precious pieces of jewelry and an undetermined amount of cash were missing.

The investigator said the crime could have been committed on Saturday night, January 13, since bloodstains on the victim’s bed and floor are almost dry.

Bolor filed a COC for president in 2009 for the 2010 national elections won by the late President Benigno S. Aquino III.

However, Bolor, who became viral for wearing expensive jewelry, was disqualified later by the Commission on Elections, together with 90 other aspirants, for being a nuisance candidate.

Police are conducting follow-up investigation and manhunt against the suspects.
