West Zone concessionaire Maynilad Water Services, Inc. scheduled a series of maintenance activities in Caloocan City and Quezon City.
Starting Monday, Jan. 15, the water concessionaire said it will conduct a week-long leak detection and pressure testing along several barangays in the two cities.
According to Maynilad Water, the pressure test is required to validate supply flow.
Maynilad assured that the possible interruptions will be held during off-peak hours to minimize the impact on the residents and business places.
The list of affected areas and their schedule are as follows:
Jan. 15 to 16, from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM
- QC – Brgys. Talipapa and Ugong
Jan. 16 to 17, from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM
- QC – Brgys. San Bartolome and Nagkaisang Nayon
Jan. 17 to 18, from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM
- QC – Brgys. Bahay Toro, Bagbag, Talipapa, and Sauyo
Jan. 17 to 18, from 11:00 PM to 4:00 AM
- Caloocan – Brgys. 49, 52, 53, 56, 67, 59 and 60
Jan. 18 to 19, from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM
- QC – Brgys. San Bartolome, Bagbag
Jan. 19 to 20, from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM
- QC – Brgys. Sangandaan, Bagbag
Jan. 20 to 21, from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM
- QC – Brgys. Bagbag, San Bartolome
Jan. 21 to 21, from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM
- QC – Brgy. Gulod
Maynilad advises residents to begin storing up enough water supply as early as this weekend to mitigate the low pressure in the coming days.
Meanwhile, the concessionaire ensures that water tankers will be on standby in case of emergencies.
