Heart Evangelista on Jericho Rosales: 'We're good friends'

She used to call him her "greatest love." Fifteen years after their love story ended, Heart Evangelista is now in the right place to say that she and her former flame, Jericho Rosales, are "good friends."

Heart and Jericho attended Zion Philippines' third anniversary last Jan. 12 at Solaire Resort.  A video uploaded on Youtube  caught them greeting each other on the cheek. Heart is the official endorser of Zion massage chairs, while Jericho was invited to perform that night.

Before the event started, Heart was asked about her reaction to Jericho's viral Instagram stories last week, where he even tagged her in his posts about the paper dolls used in their 2005 ABS-CBN series "Panday."

Holding the dolls, Jericho posted: "Si Heart nga 'to, katawan ba ni Heart yan? Parang dinikit lang eh, pero at least, dati pa nasa fashion na siya. Oh, di ba? Hi, Heart!" 

At the Zion party, Heart was asked to comment about Jericho's IG post. She implied that the reason why Jericho was free to post like that is because "we're good friends. I heard that he'll be here tonight. Ahh, it's a surprise pala!," the actress said, then strutting to the ballroom in her chic gown made by Italian designer Giambattista Valli.

When the program started, Heart  initiated  a banter with  the event's host, Tim Yap when she said: " I heard we have wonderful performances tonight."

Tim replied: "Oh yes, it's Jericho Rosales."

"Oh my God. Okay, so thank you so much," Heart said, preparing to leave the stage.

Tim ran after Heart, saying, "Not yet, not yet. He's not here yet. He's gonna be here later."

Upon hearing this, Heart returned to the stage and told Tim, "I'm gonna sit down with madam over there."

Heart left a few minutes before Jericho started his song number.

Since their 2008 break-up, the two celebrities have been seen publicly together on two occasions. 

The first one was in  November 2017 during a party for the luggage brand Rimowa, while the second one happened in March last year during a reunion organized for the original Kapamilya babies of Johnny Manahan, popularly known as Mr. M.
