Woman nabbed for shabu in Taguig

The Taguig Police’s Drug Enforcement Unit arrested a woman who was suspected to be a drug pusher on Jan. 10.

The suspect was identified by her alias, Brenda, 46, who was arrested in a buy-bust operation on Amarillo Street in Barangay Rizal, Taguig at about 7:45 p.m.

According to the Taguig police, the suspect is listed as a street level individual in illegal drugs.

Seized from the operation were five plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, weighing 20 grams with a value of P136,000, P500 buy-bust money, and a cell phone.

She will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) while the illegal drugs will be turned over to the Southern Police District Forensic Unit for examination.
