Miles Ocampo on Elijah Canlas: 'Okay kami, nag-usap na ulit...'

Miles Ocampo and Elijah Canlas are back on speaking terms.

Miles herself revealed this in a recent interview.

It came several months after Elijah confirmed their breakup in November.

The actress told Karen Davila, “I'm happy na naiwan lahat ng issues namin na yun sa 2023, Miss Karen. And then we started this year na okay kami, na nag-usap na ulit and all."

She is not willoing to divulge the real reason for the split though, saying simply, “May mga bagay na nangyari, Miss Karen."

"Of course, sa isang relationship naman, it's not just, di lang naman isang tao, parang you have to make it work, kayong dalawa.

“So siyempre, may mga pagkukulang at ano rin, yung isa't isa."

Miles continued, “Siyempre, Miss Karen, di na naman biro yung mga pinagdaanan namin. Of course, may mga bagay na kaming dalawa lang ang makakaalam at makakasagot sa isa't isa. So, might as well, be friends for now.”

Miles admitted Elijah is her "first everything."

When Karen asked if “Siya ba ang true love mo?"

Miles related, “Yes, Miss Karen. First jowa. First boyfriend. First everything.”

Has she forgiven Elijah?

Miles replied, “Of course, Miss Karen. Forgiveness naman ang pinaka-importante sa lahat. For myself din, and since I still have love for that person, parang lahat naman ng tao nagkakamali. Parang dapat lang maging accountable yung mga tao sa mga nagawa nila.”

As to the possibility of them rekindling their romance, she said, “Tingnan natin ang universe, Miss Karen, magsabi.”
