Shooting suspect arrested, yields grenade in Taguig

A suspect in a shooting incident was arrested and yielded a hand grenade in Taguig on Jan. 9. 

The Taguig Police identified the suspect as alias Datu Malik, 29, who was nabbed at about 8:30 p.m. on Zamboanga Street in Barangay Maharlika.

He was apprehended by police officers from Taguig Substation 7 in a follow-up operation after a shooting incident that happened on Jan. 7 on Tawi-Tawi Street in the same barangay. 

The suspect was taken into custody and yielded a hand grenade. 

The police filed charges of murder and illegal possession of an explosive device against the suspect.
