Scattered rains across parts of PH due to shear line, 'amihan'
The state weather bureau said that most parts of the country will experience rain showers due to the shear line and northeast monsoon or "amihan" on Friday, Jan. 12.

In its 4 a.m. bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the shear line may bring Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, and Quezon cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.
Cloudy skies with light rains may also be felt in Cagayan Valley, Apayao, Kalinga, and Aurora, while partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains are expected in Metro Manila.
Because of this, the public was advised to still take precautions against possible flash floods and landslides.
