CAMP Lt. Rosauro Toda Jr., City of Ilagan, Isabela – Police confiscated fake agricultural products worth P112,500 from a 46-year-old man in an entrapment operation in Ward 1, Barangay Raniag, Ramon, Isabela on Wednesday night, January 10.
Confiscated from the suspect, Jo, were 31 15-kilogram sacks of hybrid rice seed with “Not for Sale” markings, two three-kilogram packs of NSIC 2017 RC 486H-LP534, 12 15-kilogram sacks of NSIC RC 132 H (SL-8H), two packs of three-kilogram NSIC RC 132H (SL8-8H), Nokia keypad cellular phone, the boodle money, and a genuine P1,000 bill.
Jo and pieces of evidence are in the custody of the Philippine National Police-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group in Santiago City for appropriate disposition.
Suspect faces a case for violation of Republic Act 7394 or the Consumers Act of the Philippines.
