CEBU CITY – Investigators are looking into some personalities as part of the continuing investigation on the killing of a noted voice coach who was found dead by the road in the City of Naga, southern Cebu on December 30.
Police Lt. Col. Gerard Ace Pelare, spokesperson of Police Regional Office-Central Visayas chief Police Brig. Gen. Anthony Aberin, said investigators were able to get the names of some individuals who could be possibly involved in the killing of Joel Jude Suson “Coach J” Unchuan after a forensic examination on the victim’s car was conducted.

Pelare withheld the names of these individuals pending further investigation.
He clarified that these persons are not considered as suspects yet.
“As of now, we cannot consider them as suspects yet but we are looking into their involvement because the result of the forensic examination indicated there are some personalities that should be looked into,” Pelare said.
Personal or robbery are the possible motives that the police are looking into. “Personal grudge and robbery or a mixture of these motives,” said Pelare.
Pelare added that the victim may have been killed by at least two persons.
Initial reports showed that strangulation was one of the causes of the victim’s death.
