Grab PH enters Bohol


CEBU CITY – The provincial government of Bohol welcomed the entry of a leading Transportation Network Vehicle Service (TNVS) into the province.

Gov. Aris Aumentado said the entry of Grab Philippines into the province will have a positive impact on Bohol’s transportation industry.

“The operation of Grab in the province will help us control the high fares of some drivers and operators,” said Aumentado.

The province will have an initial 500 Grab units.

Aumentado said Grab operations will focus first in the towns of Panglao, Dauis, and Tagbilaran.

He was recently visited in his office by Grab Philippines officials led by CJ Lacsian, country operations head; Malou Inocanouo-Tabar, public affairs manager, and Jay Lim, Mindanao regional operations head.

How to ensure the smooth operations of Grab in the province was discussed during the courtesy visit.

Aumentado said the province will coordinate with the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board and various transport groups to help Grab start its operations in the province within the year.
